Elastoplast

'Elastoplast' is taken from an original acrylic painting I did of a couple of Elastoplast tins. I get pleasure from putting similar items together to then highlight their differences, so whilst there is only a few years age differences between the tins, life, design and terminology has moved on. The branding design of the name may not have changed, neither has it's glorious red, but that is where the similarities end. There is a slight bossiness in the lettering of the elder (right hand side) which contrasts so well with the slightly more dynamic tone to the newer smaller tin, complete with it's 'new style' lower case letters, exciting arrows and new go faster stripes of white and blue. A new era !
