Surgical

'Surgical' is taken from an original gouache painting, inspired by the unique vintage shop find; of a complete unused 'Bradex First Aid kit'. What struck me the most about the kit was the exciting juxtaposition of the contents and the wonderfully designed and coloured lettering. I wanted to take all those qualities and put them together in a stand alone piece. The original is painted in gouache, a medium which lends itself to typography.
