Bradex First Aid Kit

The original graphite drawing of 'Bradex First Aid Kit' was what sparked off all of my paintings of the last few years. I chose to work in graphite pencil for this piece as I wanted to create a detailed study of all the intricate contents.
Whilst the kit was an exciting retro shop find in itself with it's contents untouched, what I found most thrilling was the juxtaposition of all the lettering, tones, detail, and work in all these small modest everyday but beautifully designed items.
