Fragment 26

'Fragment 26' is taken from an original watercolour I did of an unusual piece of green patterned china. As much as I love blue and white china it is always exciting when a different colour emerges. Almost crude in it's crosshatching, this one's origins are a mystery, our only clue the lettering which has borne the brunt of time. Like a tricky moment in the opticians chair, no amount of squinting and guesswork is revealing what those letters read.
